The Porto Frailis Bay is reachable in a few
minutes walk, without crossing busy roads.
The central part of it, with its fine sand and shallow water, is ideal also for children, while the rocks on both sides invite to put on snorkle and pins and to discover what's underneath.

Lido di Orrì
Around 13 minutes by car you can find the
enchanting beach of Orrì. Famous for its numerous inlets which each lead
to wonderful, deserted beaches. Orrì is considered one of the most
beautiful beaches in all of Sardinia.
A long, wide beach, around 16km in length, characterised by extremely fine, white sand and crystal-clear, pale blue shallow water stretching out 300 metres from the shore.
The beach has a sandy seabed with rocks worn smooth over time, both on the beach and emerging from the water, which sparkles an iridescent blue from the play of light created by the sun’s reflection off the seabed. There are numerous services of every kind – from renting of sunbeds and umbrellas to kiosks for children’s games.

Lido di Cea
Around 15km from Villetta Portu Frailis, it is characterised by the presence of
beautiful red rock stacks (Is Scoglius Arrubius) a destination for more
experienced divers.
It is very long, fine and white. It’s bordered on the south by a strip of rocks known as Punta Niedda, while just beyond the beach there is the volcanic rock of Teccu.
Dense Mediterranean macchia vegetation extends along the back of the beach, adding a splash of colour and a fresh fragrance. Just behind is a small cove with a bottom of rocks and pebbles, which serves as a berth for recreational craft. While it may not be as full of amenities as Orrì, you can still find a couple of stalls and a spacious carpark.

NATURE, MOUNTAINS AND ARCHEOLOGY
Around 30 minutesby car from the holiday house you can find the little town of Osini and theirs "Tacchi". They are uplands of calcareous origin with sheer vertical walls standing out against the neighbouring mountains. In this area of 28 km, with a landscape that cannot be found in other areas of Ogliastra, or in the whole island we can find Monte Tisiddu, Monte Arquerì and Punta Corongiu.
Along the series of rocky cliffs that delimit the vast limestone plateau called Taccu of Osini, to the east, is Scala di San Giorgio (St George’s ladder) that is about 870 -928 mt asl; from 1989 is a Natural Monument of Sardinia. For ladder the local people intend a steep and rugged pass through a crag. In fact it is a very narrow gorge, with high limestone-dolomitic walls, through which runs the road coming from nearby Osini.
